#OOTN #OOTD What I wore last night... As if you care. Black, Denim and Gold was the theme of the evening. I had to wear a hat because my hair was dirty. Lovely, I know. Decided on which filth disguise to wear and built an outfit around it. Dry shampoo would've been a tad easier.

Here is the OUTFIT BREAKDOWN: (all very affordable)
1. White hi-low t shirt with gold zipper back- Fox's Designer Off Price (ONLY my fav store on the planet), Designer is Vintage Havana. I bought this so many years ago I have no idea what I paid but I guarantee is was 30 or less. A simple white t shirt would suffice. Make sure it is not too tight. Loosey Goosey is sexier and edgier. 2. Black TO DIE FOR Leather Vest. I Pulled it for a Styling Gig and in the end I decided to keep it. From Wasteland in Studio City, second hand- Designer is Golde. I think I paid like 40 bucks. 3. Current Elliott Boyfriend Jeans...OKAY I know these are expensive BUT they were a hand-me-down from my buddy Francesca sooooo....Nuttin' better than a FREE pair of expensive jeans. I wore the outfit with grey jeans last night. I also paired the basics with a skirt in the pics way down below.4. New Leopard Print platform Peep Toe Pumps from Nordstrom Rack by Jessica Simpson. I paid 50 bucks for these and have already gotten my money's worth. DO NOT SLEEP ON JS!!!!! Her shoe collection is DAYAMN Good.

4. MULTI Strand Silver and rhinestone necklace. This one alone could have done the trick but I wanted a really heavy look. 28 bucks, I think. Urban Outfitters.
3. Urban Outfitters also two tone necklace. MIX the Metals to make the whole thing look more interesting! Can't remember price but it was cheap. 2. Got this sparkly bad boy for my wedding in downtown LA in the accessories part o' town. It was 12 bucks or something. Did not wear to wedding. 1. SMALL single strand VINTAGE Rhinestone necklace. FLEA Market find, 15 Bucks.
AND there you have it. Replicating a look that is ALL over mags for 1,000 dollars PLUS.

EASY as that. You can find them almost anywhere! Club Monaco, Banana Republic, Gap, FOREVER 21!!!!! Barney's, Saks.... YOU decide how much or how little you want to spend on it. $$$$$$$ Keep in mind it will be an item that is versatile and can generally be worn for all eternity. (caveat: if you keep it simple and modern.) The one pictured below is Costume National. (expensiveo!) It came as a suit but I cannot squeeze my butt into the pants anymore so they stay on the hanger. It's pinstriped but still fairly simple. The edges are sharp which keeps it modern and edgy. Steers it clear of "boring officey look". (leopard print shirt underneath is Forever 21) I love to hike the sleeves up a bit. Show a little wrist ladies....it's SEXY!
The "affordable" one below is from Nordstrom Rack!!! I FRICKIN' LOVE that store. Geez..... It was originally $297.00 .... I got it for $119. BAM!!!! #nordstromrack #blazer #fashion #stylist #stylehunter SO...........NO EXCUSES !!! You can wear a simple black blazer with jeans and a T-shirt, over a pretty dress or even sass it up paired with cargo pants and sky high heels!!!! Go GET one. NOW! A blazer that is simple is easier to wear. This one has leather accents so it's a bit more complicated. If you find tyourself liking a more interesting look than just a plain old jacket....go for a blazer with cool accents like this one. If that's is the one you choose dear fashionistas make sure the rest of the outfit isn't too busy. For example, let the leather accents do the work.
My Favorites!!!! Go get them ASAP! You can buy them at Ulta Cosmetics or even at Target for like $4.99 and $5.99. WHAT a steal! Nordstrom Rack also carries some colors. SURE BEATS a 19 dollar gloss that you end up losing a week later that isn't that great anyway, am I RIGHT?! The really peachy color in the video is Apple Strudel. YUM. The more pinky color is Peaches and Cream....which makes so sense but I didn't name them. Just go with it! They smell so damn good you will want to eat them. I'm obsessed with #NYX
IT'S LIKE BUTTA!!!!! These glosses last FOREVER! They seriously smell so delicious. They taste okay too. The pigment is so dense for a gloss. EVERYONE should have these. I want to go buy the entire color wheel. My beau actually spotted this striped, little, jungle gem at a vintage showcase that I dragged him to. He has quite a good eye, for a dude.

You pin the Tiger over your shoulder so that it can be seen from the front AND the back. The tail hangs over your shoulder like its a little gecko just basking in the warmth of your sunny skin. Weird analogy but go with it.
This is an easy way to sass up a simple dress or tank! You could even pin him onto a cardigan or a shawl. When people ask me HOW to vintage shop......I try to tell the to look for the interesting pieces that no one else will pick up. There were 3 of THESE cats!!!! Just sitting there. Another tiger and a leopard. The one I chose was in the best condition (most expensive of course). CAN YOU BELIEVE people were just strolling past and had NO idea of the amazingness sitting in the jewelry box before them. I think I paid 40 bucks for him. More than I wanted to spend but it is one of a kind and I couldn't help myself.
When you shop a flea market, a vintage show or an estate sale look for the bizarre. The unexplainable items that other people wouldn't even know what to do with. Take it home and figure out what to do with it! Be creative! Keep your eyes peeled for random cool things that are original, unique pieces that you have never seen before.

The HEAD, legs and tail all move fluidly, sort of like its a bracelet. I even considered making it into a bracelet but the shoulder broach concept is just so unique I didn't dare.
